  • MSEAS-2020 Yokohama Conference; a global conference on marine social-ecological systems studies.
  • Science-based management of the Shiretoko World Natural Heritage area, and sharing the experiences at North-East Asian Marine Protected Areas Network (NEAMPAN), UN ESCAP.
  • Integrated marine policy analysis from the viewpoint of the Social-Ecological Systems approach.
  • PICES (North Pacific Marine Science Organization) Human Dimension Committee, and collaboration with ICES (International Council for the Exploration of the Sea) Human Dimension counterpart.
