  • Science-based management of the Shiretoko World Natural Heritage area, and sharing the experiences at North-East Asian Marine Protected Areas Network (NEAMPAN), UN ESCAP.
  • Integrated marine policy analysis from the viewpoint of the Social-Ecological Systems approach.
